Solo and Ensemble

Yesterday Dallin and Dailie participated in Solo and Ensemble contest. Dallin played a trumpet solo (I accompanied on the piano), Dailie played a piano solo and also played cello in a string quartet. They were given 1s on all their performances. If you are not familiar, you play in front of a judge, and the judge gives you a rating of a 1, 2, or 3- 1 being the best. They have been preparing since the first of the year, and I was very proud of them for their performances.
